Syntegon on the move

A review on our first Syntegon year.

Dear valued customers and partners,

the Covid-19 pandemic has challenged us all in ways few could have foreseen. But the year 2020 was also a new beginning for Syntegon as an independent company operating under a new name. Since then we have developed rapidly. We explored new ways with alternative digital communication formats und innovative technologies.

Together through the coronavirus crisis

Derived from our misson „Processing and packaging technology for a better life“, it was clear for Syntegon, that together with our partners in the pharmaceutical and food industries, we bear a special responsibility for overcoming this crisis. We have expanded our service activities and taken new paths. These include shortened delivery times, increased spare parts deliveries and customer services using digital services.

Currently, Syntegon solutions for the production of classical vaccines are used more than 100 times by different customers worldwide. These solutions include formulation systems, filling lines and inspection machines.

Syntegon’s first year – always on the move

After leaving the Bosch Group, it is the first year for us as an independent company. The name Syntegon stands for synergy, technology, and a focus on the future. The new corporate color green underscores the importance of sustainability and health. These aspects are also reflected in our new machine design. But we have also filled them with life in other ways. Here are three examples:

• Syntegon decided to try something new, when the industry’s leading trade show interpack – originally scheduled for May 2020 – was postponed because of the pandemic. Instead, we presented our latest processing and packaging technology at a virtual trade show.
• We recently erected a new OSD Customer Center at our Waiblingen headquarters. Our customers in the pharmaceutical industry are sure to find everything they need to formulate, develop, and make their oral solid dosage (OSD) forms.
• With our TPU1000 form, fill and seal system we have created a sustainable packaging alternative for plastic solutions. It offers innovative packaging options for food, cosmetics, and non-food products. The German Packaging Institute has honored Syntegon the German Packaging Award for the TPU1000.

The coronavirus pandemic will continue to affect us in 2021. The leading trade fairs Achema and interpack, which was postponed until February 2021, have been cancelled by the organizers. We think that these decisions were the right ones, but at the same time we very much regret not being able to meet you at these trade fairs as usual.

Of course, we are always available for any of your concerns, needs and questions – whether by e-mail, telephone or completely new communication channels, if a personal appointment should not be possible.
