Packaging for a good cause – Syntegon makes Christmas wishes come true

The end of the year is approaching, bringing with it a time for reflection, coming together and presents. Syntegon uses this moment to think of people facing particular challenges in their lives.

In cooperation with various charitable organizations – including a child protection association, a children’s hospice and home, a pediatric nursing service as well as facilities supporting people with disabilities or in social need – we conducted a wish tree campaign. Over the past few weeks, we were able to fulfil many wishes at a total of nine locations.

Under the slogan “Packaging for a good cause”, Syntegon employees selected wishes submitted by beneficiaries of the various organizations, purchased the gifts and wrapped them. Wish lists included books, arts and crafts supplies, toys, vouchers for clothing and much more. Some locations also collected monetary donations which were handed directly to the supported organizations.

In the week leading up to Christmas, our locations Alphaville (Brazil), Derby (UK), Ternitz (Austria), Bad Cannstatt, Crailsheim, Dresden, Fellbach, Remshalden and Schopfheim (all Germany) are handing over numerous gifts and 5,000 Euro donations to a total of nine institutions. This initiative has demonstrated the positive impact that can be achieved when we come together. In this way, we were able to bring joy to many people during the Christmas season.
