    October was packed with innovation at Syntegon. More than 50 participants joined the exclusive Innovation Days in Crailsheim to discuss the future of aseptic pharmaceutical production with industry experts.

    During the Innovation Days in Crailsheim, Syntegon again underlined its role as strategic lifecycle partner to the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

    More than 50 participants took the chance to network with like-minded experts at the evening event, to attend presentations from leading engineering and pharmaceutical companies, and to discover Syntegon’s latest technological achievements during an exclusive factory tour.

    Focus on Annex 1

    No topic is currently challenging the pharmaceutical industry like Annex 1. Hence, the Syntegon Innovation Days had a clear focus: the future of aseptic production.

    Matthias Angelmaier from Exyte took a look at future trends and a journey “back to the future” in his presentation, while Jörg Zimmermann from Vetter Pharma analyzed what we have learned two years after Annex 1 has come into effect.

    SynTiso and RackSter: groundbreaking innovations

    The factory tour took visitors to the next level of aseptic production. They were introduced to SynTiso, a groundbreaking new platform that Syntegon has developed together with two partners from the pharmaceutical industry.

    It addresses the current challenges related to Annex 1 compliance, high performance, and maximum product yield with minimal operator intervention – and is set to revolutionize aseptic filling operations.
