Crailsheim (Germany), December 1, 2025. Under the motto “Sustainably Healthy”, Syntegon hosted a Health Day at its Crailsheim site at the end of November. In collaboration with AOK health insurance, the Hess Rehabilitation Center, the German Pension Insurance, and other partners, Syntegon offered its employees a diverse program focused on a holistic approach to physical, social, and mental health.
During Health Day, employees were invited to take advantage of a variety of offers to support their personal wellbeing. External specialists conducted body composition analyses, flexibility checks, as well as tests for balance and coordination. A cardiovascular risk assessment provided valuable information about individual risks related to heart and circulatory diseases. Using an innovative training system incorporating virtual reality, participants had the opportunity to explore virtual worlds while simultaneously training their core muscles, coordination, and sense of balance.
Various health-promoting services were available to employees during Syntegon's Health Day in Crailsheim.
In addition, staff received practical tips and exercises for prevention, such as improving posture at the workplace and preventing back pain or inproper strain. A comprehensive range of information and counseling was available on topics including addiction prevention, rehabilitation options, and occupational safety. Fresh fruit baskets were also provided to promote healthy eating.
Participants were able to evaluate their individual risk for cardiovascular diseases.
Michael Reile, Syntegon’s company doctor, emphasizes the significance of this event: “The health of our employees is one of our top priorities at Syntegon. We place great value on continually strengthening each colleague’s health literacy through tailored programs. Health Day is the annual highlight of our corporate health management and a sign of appreciation for our staff. Our goal is to raise awareness among colleagues, and ideally, the impulse they gain will be integrated into their everyday lives.” Reile sees this success reflected in Syntegon Crailsheim’s sickness rate, which is significantly lower than the industry average.
