On October 18, 2026, the International Society for Pharmaceutical Engineering (ISPE) Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) ceremony was held in Washington, D.C., USA. Representatives from global pharmaceutical companies, engineering organizations, and the life sciences sector around the world gathered to witness this year’s innovative achievements in pharmaceutical engineering. Among the winners is our valued customer and partner Hepalink Pharmaceutical Group.

Established in 2005, the ISPE Facility of the Year Awards (FOYA) recognize innovative pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing projects worldwide. The awards highlight advances in facility design, technology, operational excellence, and project execution that contribute to higher quality and more efficient pharmaceutical production.

Partnering for co-success

Hepalink’s Pingshan facility was selected as a winner in the 2026 FOYA “Innovation – Novel Technology” category, alongside projects from leading global pharmaceutical companies. It is in fact the only project from a Chinese pharmaceutical company among the eight category award winners this year. Syntegon was invited to the award ceremony as a core partner of the project. As a representative of Hepalink Pharmaceuticals said in his acceptance speech:
