From oven to wrapper, the Pack 202 horizontal flow wrapper integrates seamlessly into a wide range of production environments. Products can be transferred directly from upstream processes using automated distribution systems, such as belt-based setups with pullnose functionality, which guide items into a single flow wrapping leg or distribute them across multiple lanes. For added automation and precision, the Pack 202 also supports robotic pick-and-place loading with solutions like Syntegon’s RPP platform.

To meet your unique production needs, the infeed systems are available in various layouts and lengths, offering exceptional flexibility in footprint, speed, and product handling.

Sealing, film, and coding options to match your application

The Pack 202 supports a wide range of film types and package formats to help you meet product, shelf life, and presentation requirements with ease:

• Cold seal film compatibility for heat-sensitive products like chocolate or select medical items
• Heat seal film compatibility for secure packaging and extended shelf life — ideal for baked goods and snacks
• Multiple end seal styles available, including straight, zig-zag, and serrated
• Optional opening aids such as tear notches or euro holes
• Batch coding and expiration date printing using a variety of coder types and mounting kits

All product contact surfaces are made from food-grade stainless steel, and key components like the infeed, finwheels, and cutting head are cantilevered for easy cleaning. Sloped surfaces on the infeed allow debris to fall away, while hygienic finwheel housings help maintain sanitation standards.

For faster changeovers, the Pack 202 features an adjustable or quick-change forming box, with pre-programmable recipes to speed up setup. Optional self-centering film reel holders and smart film controls make material changes quick and repeatable.
