Hesser Packaging in Waiblingen

The Waiblingen site is home to Hesser Packaging GmbH. The Syntegon subsidiary tookover responsibility for our Package Maker business as of February 1, 2026.

Hesser Packaging GmbH is a partner to the food industry for primary packaging of dry products such as coffee, flour, and sugar. The company’s portfolio includes new machines, services, and valves, covering technological solutions such as PME, PMX, PKD, PKS, HPLD, FVS, and KWE.

Hesser benefits from Syntegon’s global resources and expertise. At the same time, the more independent structure enables flexible and fast responses to customer needs.

A Name with History

The name Hesser is synonymous with the very cradle of the German packaging industry. In 1861 Friedrich Hesser and Otto Geiger founded the company Geiger & Hesser. Already in the 19th century, the young company developed and produced packaging machines for coffee‑like beverages. From a small workshop in Stuttgart, it quickly grew into a globally active packaging specialist that set technological standards and became part of Bosch Packaging in 1977 – now Syntegon.
