Syntegon Equipment Updates for COVID-19 Pandemic Response

Syntegon has been working very closely with many of our customers to retrofit and advance their equipment in order to produce the different therapeutics and vaccines that are in the approval pipeline.

Through our North American and European sites, we have been able to employ our manufacturing capabilities and vendor relationships to respond to equipment modification requests for COVID-19 applications for expedited delivery times.

Ongoing and completed projects have varied from removal and replacement of specific equipment to re-tooling lines to run specific commodities.  A focus has also been placed on machine efficiency and getting the most out of our customer’s production lines.  In these cases, we have brought our experts onsite to evaluate their production equipment to get the highest throughput and efficiency possible.

If a project is identified as a COVID-19 related project, this is noted throughout the order fulfillment process in order to internally and externally make aware the importance for critical timelines.  We have many examples of projects that typically would have an extended lead-time where we have been able to cut this in half or even better.  Many of our customers have been supplied with what they need and are ready to manufacture today due to these efforts.  Utilizing our strong vendor relationships and multiple manufacturing sites in the USA and Europe has made this possible.
