Filling RTU cartridges, syringes & vials

In the pharmaceutical industry, batches sizes and pack styles change frequently. While a certain medication asks for syringes, another one might be better marketed or administered in vials. Syntegon’s FXS Combi offers maximum filling flexibility: the platform processes pre-sterilized syringes, vials and cartridges at low, medium and high output rates. 

Specifically designed for the processing of pre-sterilized, nested syringes at high and ultra-high speed. The syringe transport system sets new milestones in process quality and stability: The transport carriers are moved individually and independently from one another by servo-drives. The Pharma Handling Unit is used for the nozzle motion and provides extremely accurate filling, needle precision and adaptability to different formats and products.

Filling and closing pre-sterilized, nested syringes is a challenging task: from opening bags and tubs to properly stoppering the syringes, processes must be as efficient and hygienic as possible – irrespective of the output range. The fully automated FXS 3100 perfectly meets those requirements: it fills and closes pre-sterilized, nested syringes at medium and high speeds with high stoppering and filling flexibility.

The FXS 2052 expands our portfolio of filling and closing machines for nested RTU syringes: just like other platforms from the FXS series, such as FXS 2021, 2051 and 2101, it processes syringes flexibly and in a fully automated way. Besides high and medium output rates, it supports low throughput as well.

High potent, personalized pharmaceuticals mean small patient populations – and equally small batch sizes. As a highly standardized and modular solution, the Versynta Flexible Filling Platform (FFP) enables manufacturers to approach aseptic filling in a new way.
