Syntegon to present first features of new bottle filling machine FBL at Anuga FoodTec 2024

Visitors at this year’s Anuga FoodTec from March 19^th to 22^nd in Cologne, Germany, will have the opportunity to get a first glance at the next generation of bottle filling at booth D080 in hall 7.1. Ampack, a Syntegon company and world market leader for aseptic filling equipment, will showcase key features of its newest bottle filling machine FBL. The new solution complements Ampack’s tried-and-tested aseptic cup filling machine FCL and combines efficiency, flexibility, and hygienic design for optimal product safety during bottle filling.

Clinical nutrition and baby food provide nutrients for the most sensitive consumer groups. Together with special dairy products, they need to meet highest safety standards. That is why manufacturers fill them under aseptic conditions to achieve high disinfection rates. As a result, the products do not require refrigeration and can be distributed in ambient temperatures while still allowing for utmost product protection. In the last years, Syntegon’s filling machine FCL has set new industry standards for aseptic cup filling. Now the equipment experts set out to bring their expertise to aseptic bottle filling – by introducing the new bottle filling machine FBL for dairy products as well as clinical nutrition and baby food to the market.

Combining flexibility and efficiency for aseptic filling

The similar names are no coincidence, of course. Both machines share the same modular design concept. Just like the FCL, Syntegon’s new bottle filling solution offers highest levels of flexibility as it allows manufacturers to fill e.g. HDPE, PP or PET bottles in a variety of formats. The proven SmartFill dosing concept is integrated in both machines and ensures utmost filling accuracy. “With the FBL we are expanding our market leader expertise in aseptic filling and are bringing the next generation of bottle filing technology to our customers,” says Oguz Karcier, Product Manager at Ampack. “We are excited to present the machine’s highlights at Anuga FoodTec and give visitors a first glance at the efficiency benefits they can expect when filling sesitive clinical nutrition, baby foods as well as dairy products.”
