Königsbrunn, December 15, 2023. The end of the year is approaching, and with it the season of giving and reflection. For Ampack, a Syntegon Group company, this is a good time to spare a thought for those who face special challenges in life. The enterprise, which specializes in filling and packaging technology, staged a wishing tree drive at its Königsbrunn site to bring joy to children and adolescents with physical disabilities.
As part of the “Packaging for a good cause” drive, Ampack handed over 53 presents to the Fritz-Felsenstein-Haus.
Its workforce took this opportunity to fulfill youngsters’ Christmas wishes as part of the “Packaging for a good cause” campaign. In the original German motto, Verpacken für einen guten Zweck, the word Verpacken means both packaging and wrapping. Each participant was asked to choose a wish, get a present, and – of course – wrap it up nicely. The Fritz-Felsenstein-Haus is a center of excellence for people with physical and multiple disabilities. It provides care, support, therapy, and consulting for physically disabled children, adolescents, and adults. Ampack has supported this facility for many years.

On December 13, Ampack GmbH general manager Markus Schlumberger and campaign initiator Nadine Rienhardt handed over 53 gifts to representatives of the Fritz-Felsenstein-Haus. The latter are going to distribute the gifts to their charges. “The wishing tree drive is right in line with our mission statement, processing and packaging for a better life,” says Markus Schlumberger. "We are delighted to see our employees so committed to fulfilling the Christmas wishes of kids in our region. All their wishes were granted in no time at all.”
